6th Congress
We cordially invite you to participate in the 6th International Congress «Current trends of modern cardiothoracic surgery», supported by the Russian Ministry of Health, the Government of St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg Research Institute Phthisiopulmonology, St. Petersburg State University, Pirogov’s Surgical Society, Northwest Medical Research Center, the Russian Association of Thoracic Surgeons, National Association of TB specialists, Research Institute of Circulation Pathology named by E. Meshalkin (Novosibirsk), European Society of Thoracic Surgery and Hannover Medical School (MHH). Date: June 09-11, 2016 The alternatives in cardiothoracic surgery are the main issue of the Congress this year. The program will be composed of the presentations devoted to alternative approaches to common and rare diseases of the heart and major vessels, lungs and mediastinum, as well as burning issues of chest organ transplantation, anesthesiological support and modern imaging methods in cardiothoracic surgery. * Re-do surgery on chest organs The first day would be traditionally devoted to live surgery, master-classes and schools provided be European Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the leading cardiac surgeons. Additionally the training “hands-on” courses would be organized. The second and third days comprise scientific sessions, round tables and poster sessions. During the Congress you may visit the exhibition, presenting the leading Russian and European pharmaceutical companies and manufacturers of medical equipment.
